ICQ, developed by Mirabilis and now
owned by AOL, is a proprietary instant messaging computer
program which enables users to communicate with each other across
the globe. Sending text messages, free daily-limited SMS sending, offline support, multi-user chats, resumable file transfers, multiplayer games, greeting cards and a searchable user directory are some of ICQ features. The software update includes integration with Facebook and other websites. It also allows custom personal status similar to Windows Live Messenger.
